Dominic
White named Art Director at online retailer
Midnight Pass Inc of Marshfield, MA
DATELINE: MARSHFIELD
HILLS, MA... Dominic White, a professional illustrator, has recently
been appointed as Art Director at Midnight Pass. Catering to the
owners of pampered pets and other discerning clientele, Midnight
Pass (www.midnightpass.com) is a direct marketer and online retailer
in Marshfield, Mass., providing innovative and exclusive products
to thousands of customers worldwide.
As Art Director at Midnight Pass, Dominic White, brother of the
company’s founder Brad White, will oversee the website and
e-commerce as well as develop and handle all visuals for product
and advertising design.
White holds
a BFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford art school.
Upon his graduation in 1991,
he relocated to Seattle,
WA and became an art teacher at a preschool.
White then moved
on to become a Production Manager at a prepress firm in Seattle
for six years, where he ultimately helped that
company make the transition from film imaging to computer imaging.
White is the illustrator of the online cartoon “Slugs”,
which will be highlighted in an upcoming book, The History
of Online Comics by T. Campbell. In 1998, while
still in Seattle, Dominic White helped Brad White build and
launch Midnight Pass’ e-commerce and website. Upon
moving back to New England, White became more involved in the
company as a graphic designer and was brought on full-time.
“I was following the growth of Midnight Pass and helping as much
as I could from across the country. By moving back to New England
I was able to contribute more and it got to the point where
I was putting in so many hours Brad finally suggested I work with Midnight
Pass full time. Being able to work closely with Brad in the
development of the new Pet Cruiser product line is also an exiting new challenge.
It's great to see that all the hard work the Midnight Pass
team
has put in since 1998 is paying off,” noted Dominic White.
White
resides in Portland, Maine with his wife and two adopted
cats. |
